Aubry Smith (M.A. Theological Studies, Columbia International University) is a writer, childbirth educator, and doula. Aubry is passionate about Christ-centered pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood, and how these can be profound contributors to spiritual formation when combined with thoughtful intention and spiritual disciplines. Aubry is the author of the book Holy Labor: How Childbirth Shapes a Woman’s Soul (Kirkdale Press, 2016), which you can find more about here. She is also a regular contributor to Faithlife’s Bible Study Magazine.
Aubry also works for an international Christian nonprofit, doing community development projects with her husband. Together with their three children, they lived in the Middle East for five years. In 2021, they will embark on a new adventure to Northern Ireland to work with refugees who have settled in the UK. Aubry enjoys teaching cross-cultural communication and ministry, and will begin a PhD program in Intercultural Studies in 2021 through Columbia International University.
